Reviews

  • "It's a provocative film, undoubtedly, with a lot of under the hood. There's a numbness, a sense of disconnect and chill that's at odds with the lively beautiful scenery. SUNDOWN is certainly thought-provoking and will ultimately leave you brooding."
    - Film Inquiry
  • "SUNDOWN is a film full of narrative and emotional surprises, upending the middle-aged bloke having a midlife crisis storyline, with Yves Cape's cinematography capturing the classy and mundane locations with equally seductive attributes."
    - CineVue
  • "SUNDOWN is a compelling and interesting step forward for the [director Michael Franco], which demonstrates his capable direction as well as his talents at directing his actors, of which there is no better proof than Tim Roth's performance."
